Cade Canada was promoted to the head athletic trainer position for the Union Sports Medicine Department in June of 2023. This comes after Canda spent the 2022 season as the assistant athletic trainer. Prior to being promoted to the assistant role, he spent two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Union. Canada is a certified and licensed athletic trainer.
Canada graduated from Union in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in athletic training. While at Union, he played baseball and was a student in the athletic training program.Â
Before attending Union, Canada graduated from White Hall High School in 2016 in his hometown of White Hall, Arkansas. He played baseball, football, and basketball in high school.Â
Canada and his wife Ashten (2021 Union alum) were married May 21, 2022 and the two attend Fellowship Church. He is the son of Jay and Tammie Canada.Â
