Biography

2014-15... played in 31 games, started 30... scored 354 points, averaging 11.4 points per game, with 43 steals and 36 assists. 2015-16...named GSC second team All-Conference..named NCAA DII South Region All-Tournament.

Before Union
Montgomery transferred to Union from Kennesaw State (Ga.) University where he played basketball for two seasons. While at KSU, he played in 20 games as a sophomore, marking his season high of nine points in a game versus Warren Central College. He shot 38 percent from the field and 40 percent from 3-point range. Montgomery played in 26 games as a freshman, averaging four points and two rebounds per game. His career high in points was 11 in a game versus East Tennessee State University. He graduated high school in 2012 from Orlando (Fla.) Christian Preparatory School. Montgomery helped lead his high school team to three state titles (2009, 2010, and 2012). His team was state runner-up in 2011. He recorded 10 points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals in the state title game as a senior. Montgomery was named third team All-Central Florida by the Orlando Sentinel.
