Prior to Union
Shackelford prepped at Bartlett High School, where he led the basketball team to district, state, and sub-state championships in both 2022 and 2024. He was named first-team all regional tournament in 2024, first-team Sugar Bowl Classic in 2023, and the Hurricane Classic MVP in 2023.

Off the court, Shackelford served as the presidents of FBLA and FCA.

Born June 16...son of Fred and Jennifer Shackleford...majoring in business with the goal of working in ministry.
