Before Union
Rentfrow prepped at Marshall County (Ky.) High School where he played four seasons of basketball. He was named to the All-Purchase team three times, all-district once, and played in the Kentucky East/West All-Star Game. Rentfrow ranks sixth in scoring at Marshall County and graduated with the most wins of any individual player in school history. He finished with 1,365 career points, 862 rebounds, 231 blocks, 78 assists, and 81 steals. He received a nomination to the 2014 McDonald’s All-American Team and was identified as a “player to watch” in the class of 2014 by many sports media outlets.
