Before Union
Galbraith prepped at Heritage Covenant School, where he played four years of baseball. He was named Pitcher of the Year as a senior, finishing first on the team in ERA and wins and second in strikeouts. At the plate, he led the team in home runs and hit-by-pitch and ranked second in OPS, slugging percentage, and RBI.

Off the field, Galbraith earned the Excellent Standing Award and was the class Salutatorian.
