Before Union
Thompson transfered to Union from Snead State Community College where he played one season of baseball. As a college freshman, Thompson played for the University of Northwestern Ohio. Thompson prepped at Lakota (Ohio) West High School where he played four seasons of baseball. He is the son of Rich and Trisha Thompson.
