Before Union
Flowers prepped at Harding (Tenn.) Academy where he played baseball for four seasons. He helped lead his team to a state runner-up finish in 2012 and 2013. Flowers was named TSWA All-State twice, all-district three times, all-region twice, all-metro three times, Harding Academy MVP twice, Harding Academy Offensive Player of the Year, and Shelby County Best of the Preps. Flowers holds school records at Harding Academy with home runs in a season (12), home runs in a career (32), runs scored in a career (142), and triples in a career. Off the field, he was a member of the National Honors Society. He is the son of Bill and Kerry Flowers.
