  • Batted .288 with 19 hits, 24 runs scored, nine RBIs, 20 walks, six stolen bases, and a .467 OBP
Before Union
Joyner transfers to Union following two seasons of baseball at Jackson State Community College. He was named to the honor roll in his sophomore year and graduated with an associate degree in general studies. 
Joyner prepped at Germantown High School where he played four years of baseball. He had the second highest batting average in Tennessee (.553), second in slugging percentage (.868), and was first in on base percentage (.702). He also played one year of basketball his freshman year.
