Before Union
Luzod prepped at Henry Ford II (Mich.) High School where he played four seasons of baseball and one year of basketball. He helped lead his baseball team to the district title in 2012. Luzod was named to the Spring Break Tournament All-Tournament team, team MVP, earned the Will-to-Win award twice, and the Team Captain Award. He was also named all-league and all-district. As a senior, Luzod posted a 1.98 ERA with 57 strikeouts in 43 innings pitched with a 4-1 record.
