Before Union
Plattner transferred to Union from Lincoln Land Community College where he played two years of baseball. He was named MWAC Academic All-Conference and NJCAA Academic All-American. Plattner prepped at Sacred-Heart Griffin High School where he played four years of baseball. He led his team to the 2016 region title. Off the field, he was on the honor roll.
