Before Union
Kelley prepped at Collierville High School where he played four seasons of baseball. He also played four years for Batters Box Baseball. Kelley helped lead his team to a pair of district titles in 2013 and 2015, while also claiming the 2013 3A Tennessee State Title. He was named Newcomer of the Year in 2014, Defensive Player of the Year in 2015, Best of the Preps in 2015 and played in the Shelby County All-Star Game in 2015. In 2014, he was named Perfect Game All-Tournament with his Batters Box team.
