Before Union
Warnimont transferred to Union from Columbia (Tenn.) State Community College where he played two seasons of baseball. He helped lead his team to the conference regular season title in 2012, followed by the 2013 conference tournament title. In 2013, his team finished runner-up in the NJCAA District Tournament. At Columbia State, he was named to the President's List. Warnimont prepped at Gallia Academy (Ohio) where he played baseball, football, and basketball. Warnimont helped lead his team to the league title as a senior, setting the school record for wins. He was named all-league twice, first team all-district twice, and was named the team MVP as a senior. Warnimont also was selected to play for Team Ohio in the Hearland Classic. Off the field, Warnimont was a member of the National Honors Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He is the son of Brad and Suzanne Warnimont.
