Before Union
Mauzy transferred to Union from Snead State Community College where he played two years of baseball. He was named to the ACCC All-Region team and posted a career average of .370. Mauzy prepped at Hillgrove High School where he played four years of baseball. He helped lead his team two region titles and a state runner-up finish. Mauzy was named first team all-region, first team all-county, all-state, Georgia Top 100 Team and Braves 400 Club High School All-Star Team. He set the school records for batting average in a season (.460) and career (.433). Off the field, Mauzy was on the academic honor roll and was a member of the Latin Honors Society.

Born September 25...son of Erik and Linda Mauzy...majoring in exercise science as he works to become a physical therapist.
