Before Union
Waggoner prepped at Graves County (Ky.) High School where she played soccer, basketball and tennis. As a soccer player, she was named MVP, captain, all-district and first team all-region as a junior and senior. Waggoner was also named a Wendy’s High School Heisman and KHSAA Region I Sportsman Award winner as a senior. She holds her high school’s record for most career saves, most saves in a season (185) and most shutouts. Her team at Graves County were the district and region runner-ups in 2011. Waggoner played club soccer for the TNFC 94 Azul where she led to team to the state title game. Off the field, Waggoner was a honors graduate, AP Scholar, STAR Student, and on the student council. Waggoner is the daughter of Joseph and Becky Waggoner.
