Before Union
Taylor prepped at Saint Agnes (Tenn.) Academy where she played four years of softball. She was named Best of the Preps All-Metro team as a junior and senior. She also earned TSSAA Division II all-region as a junior and senior. She hit .589 as a junior, and then posted a 0.01 ERA during her senior year. Off the field, Taylor was a member of the Beta Club, Mu Alpha Theta, National Spanish Honors Society, Magna Cum Laude freshman, sophomore, and junior year, and was Summa Cum Laude as a senior.
