Biography

2015... started 11 games on the mound and threw 78.1 innings with a 6.43 ERA... GSC Academic Honor Roll. 2016...GSC Honor Roll. 2017...GSC Honor Roll. 2018... pitched 50.2 innings with one win and one save... recorded 32 strikeouts...GSC Honor Roll.   

Before Union
Coursey prepped at Henderson County (Ky.) High School where he played four seasons of varsity baseball. In 2012, he helped lead his team to the district and region titles and a state runner-up finish. In 2013, his baseball team earned district and region titles again, and advanced to the state tournament semifinals. He was named all-district three times, all-region twice, all-state tournament, and earned his team's Pitcher of the Year Award. Off the field, Coursey was a member of the National Honors Society and was on the honor roll all four years.
