Before Union
Ballek is from Brentwood and prepped at Brentwood High School. She played soccer for four seasons. Ballek helped her JV team to the 2010 district title and her high school team to the 2012 state titled. She was named team MVP in 2010 and all-district in 2011. As a senior, Ballek was named all-district, all-mid state, all-state, all-star team, all-region, region defender of the year, and defensive MVP. Off the field, Ballek was on the honor roll all four years of high school. Ballek is the daughter of Frank and Laurie Ballek and is a member of St. Henry’s Church. She will major in nursing as she works to be a nurse practitioner.
