Before Union
Bohlmann prepped at Kuemper Catholic (Iowa) High School where she played softball, volleyball, basketball, and ran track. As a softball player, Bohlmann was named all-conference in each of her four years of high school. She was also a four-time All-Western Iowa, incluidng first team as a senior. Bohlmann earned all-district honors three times and all-state twice, including first team as a senior. She earned the conference all-academic award and was one of 40 players in the state of Iowa to play in the all-star game. Bohlman his .407 for her career, including .460 as a senior. She also helped lead her volleyball team to the state tournament in 2011 and 2012. Off the field, Bohlmann was on the Superior Honor Roll for all four years, National Honors Society, student council, and was active in band, piano, chorus, dance, school plays, mock trial, and large group speech.
