2012-13...played in nine tournaments, 21 rounds, 76.14 average per round, low round of 69, best finish was seventh...played in the Gulf South Conference Championships and NCCAA National Championships...named Gulf South Academic Honor Roll. 2013-14...named NCCAA Student Athlete of the Week once...played in the NCCAA National Championships...named NCCAA All-American.

Before Union
Doughty transferred to Union from John A. Logan College where he was named a NJCAA All-American both seasons. He helped lead his junior college team to the 2011 NJCAA National Title as a freshman, while returning to the nationals with a third place finish in 2012. Individually, Doughty finished 12^th in the 2012 NJCAA National Tournament. Doughty was named all-region twice, Ping All-American in 2012, Ping All-Region, 2012. He has been named to five different all-tournament teams. His average score is 75.23 which was best on his team in 2012. His career low 18-hole score is 68. Doughty is a 2010 graduate of Benton Consolidated (Ill.) High School where he played four years of golf. He helped lead his team to a runner-up finish in the 2008 state tournament, and three region titles. He was named all-state, All-Southern Illinois twice, region champion in 2009, and was the 2009 Southern Illinois Prep Golfer of the Year. Doughty was a medalist nine times as a high school senior.
