Before Union
Wilson prepped at Cass (Ga.) High School where he played baseball for four seasons. He also ran cross country for two seasons and was on the swimming team for three seasons. Wilson earned numerous awards in high school including the 2012 Colonel Leadership Award, 2012 Georgia Dugout Club Top 100, 2012 Georgia vs. Tennessee All-Star Game, 2012 Baseball Scoutz Georgia All-Star, Cass Baseball Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013, Cass HS Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2012, and Team Captain Award in 2013. Wilson was named first team all-region, Silver Slugger, all-county, and Georgia Dugout Club All-State as a senior. Off the field, Wilson graduated seventh in a class of 241, was the junior class president, member of the National Honors Society, Beta Club, Phi Theta Kappa, and posted straight A's from K-12. Wilson is the son of Charles and Jessica Wilson.
