Biography

Before Union
Cunningham transferred to Union from Western Texas College where he played two seasons of baseball. He was selected to play in the Texas-New Mexico Junior College All-Star Game. As a freshman, Cunningham tossed 69.1 innings with a 3.50 ERA and 38 strikeouts. As a sophomore, he threw 71 innings and had 72 strikeouts. He was also named to Phi Theta Kappa in the spring of 2012. Cunningham prepped at Fort Worth (Texas) Christian School where he was a 4-year letterman. Cunningham was named second team all-district in 2009 and 2010. His team was the TAPPS 4A Baseball State Runner-Up in 2010.Off the field, Cunningham graduated Cum Laude. He is the son of Max and Suzanne Cunningham.
