2011...played in 28 matches and 91 sets...recorded 189 kills and 26 blocks.  2012...played in 89 sets...recorded 157 kills, 33 digs, 27 blocks...was named to Gulf South Honor Roll.  2013...played in 98 sets...recorded 207 kill, 8 aces, and 24 blocks...named Gulf South Conference Academic Honor roll, NCCAA Fall Scholar Athlete, and named TSWA Player of the week once. 2014... played in 56 sets... recorded 89 kills and 12 blocks.

Before Union
Wainwright prepped at Shades Mountain (Ala.) Christian School where she played volleyball and basketball for four seasons. In volleyball, she helped lead her team to the Alabama state quarterfinals in 2007 and 2009. Wainwright was named all-state three times, was a three-time team MVP, named Birmingham News All-South three times and was the Birmingham News Player of the Year as a senior. The two-time team captain finished in the top-25 in the state of Alabama in career kills (1284) and aces (266). As a senior, she posted 478 kills, 71 aces and averaged 5.2 kills per game. In basketball, Wainwright's team advanced to the state tournament quarterfinals in 2007 and were area champions in 2008 and 2009. She was an all-south selection, the 2008 AHSAA Area MVP and was only the fourth player in school history to reach 1,000 career points. Off the court, Wainwright was the Valedictorian of her class, senior class vice president, National Honor Society Vice President, yearbook editor, Mu Alpha Theta, high school science fair grand prize winner in 2008 and 2009 in Chemistry and Environmental Biology.
