Biography

Before Union
Araujo transferred to Union from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. He prepped at Colégio Logosófico. Araujo played club soccer for Vespasiano Esporte and Esporte Clube Santa Cruz for three seasons. He was named team captain in 2005 and 2007. He is the son of Demétrio Praxedes Araújo and Marilena Monteiro Piovesana.
