Before Union
Schultz Prepped at Evansville Harrison High School where he played 4 years of baseball. Schultz hit .350 his senior year while also sporting a 0.71 ERA on the mound. He was named Co-Captain for the Southern Indiana Spikes in 2020. Off the field he was the recipient of the Randall T. Shepard Leadership Academy, NHS, Daughters of the American Revolution good citizen, recipient of the Meyer Scholarship, Constance Irwin Scholarship, and was the Harrison Warrior Command Section Leader. Schultz graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0.
