Heuermann prepped at Kaethe-Kollwitz Gymnasium Munich. He played soccer for SV Planegg in the highest youth division from U8-U11, then played two years for Munich Football School, and four years for SC Furstenfeldbruck where he helped his team to the Dachau Indoor Championship. He also played two years for TUS Geretsried and played in the second highest youth division.
