Before Union
Linton prepped at South-Doyle High School and his freshman year at Alcoa High School. During his high school years, he played four years of soccer, and one year each of track, wrestling, and basketball. While a freshman at Alcoa, he helped lead his track team to the state title. Linton made the ODP development team in 2016 and played in the national tournament two years in a row. Off the field, he was on the Dean's List every semester but one, and is a member of the National Honors Society.
