Before Union
Tankersley spent six years running cross country and track at Houston High School. She helped lead her cross country team to a state title in 2016, and three region titles. Tankersley was named the Commercial Appeal All-Metro Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year in 2018. She was named team captain in 2017.
