Before Union
Blackwood prepped at Buckhorn High School where she ran cross country and track for four seasons each. She helped lead her team to the AHSAA 6A Sectional Championship in 2018 and 2019. Off the course, Blackwood earned Top-5 percent of her class, was a student ambassador, and was a member of the National Honors Society.
