Before Union
Patterson prepped at Wynne High School where he played four years of golf, one season of baseball, and one season of basketball. He helped lead his team to the conference title as a junior and a runner-up conference finish as a senior. Patterson was named all-conference twice and was also selected as the Wynne High School Outstanding Golfer twice. Off the course, Patterson graduated seventh in his class, was the secretary of the National Honors Society, and graduated with high honors.Â
