Before Union
Augustine prepped at Lawrence County High School where she played four years of basketball. She also played club/AAU basketball for the Arkansas Nets. Augustine helped lead her high school team to the Lawrence County Tournament title. She was named to the All-State Tournament Team once, All-State twice, MVP twice, Best Offensive Player twice, and All-Conference three times. She also holds the Arkansas record for most points per game and ranks top-five in 3A. She averaged 32 points and 12 rebounds per game while shooting 45 percent from 3-point range. She also went to the free-throw line 212 times, shooting 90 percent from the charity stripe. Augustine has also scored 49 points in a single game twice in her high school career. Off the court, Augustine is a member of the National Honor Society, A Honor Roll, serves as Class Treasurer, and ranks in the top-five academically of her graduating class.
