Before Union
Morrison prepped at Gravette High School in Arkansas where she played four years of basketball and softball. She also ran four years of track. On the basketball court, she averaged 24 points, five assists, and four rebounds per game while shooting 42 percent from 3-point range. As a junior, she was named All-State, MVP, All-Conference, averaged 20 points, four assists, four rebounds per game, and reached 1,000 career points. As a sophomore, she was named All-Conference and Offensive Player of the Year. As a freshman, she was named Defensive Player of the Year and helped lead her team to a District Championship. Morrison also earned quite a few awards on the softball field, including All-Conference twice while helping her team to Conference and District titles. Morrison was awarded All-State honors in track as her 4x800m team won a State Championship her freshman year. She has also played seven years of club basketball, most recently for the Banshees. Off the court, Morrison was a member of the National Honors Society and tied for first in her graduating class. Â
