Before Union
Williamson transferred to Union from Gardner-Webb University where he played one season. In 2019, he made 12 appearances with a 4.61 ERA and a 1-0 record. In the COVID-19 shortened 2020 seasons, he had made four appearances. Williamson started his college career with one season at Sinclair Community College, making 18 appearances with a 2.01 ERA in 44.2 innings of work, a 7-0 record, and one save. Williamson prepped at Canal Winchester High School where he played four years of baseball and two years of basketball. As a senior, he was 4-2 with a 1.17 ERA and 60 strikeouts in 36 innings of work. Williamson was named Ohio Capital Conference All-Conference three times.
