Before Union
Adkisson prepped at Hardin County High School where he played four years of baseball, four years of basketball, and was on the fishing team one year. He was named all-district in baseball and basketball. Walker was also a Don Price nominee in baseball. As a senior, he posted 80 strikeouts in 61.1 innings of work with a 2.80 ERA. He also hit .313 with three home runs and nine doubles. Off the field, Walker was a member of the National Honors Society and was ranked ninth in his class out of 256.

Born January 17...son of Dan and Latonia Adkisson...majoring in general biology as he works to become a dentist.
