Before Union
Kepenc transferred to Union from the University of Wyoming where she played three years of basketball. She helped lead her team to one Mountain West Conference runner-up finish and two third place finishes. Kepenc was named to the MWC All-Academic Team and to the was a MWC Scholar-Athlete. Kepenc played in 66 games with just over three points per game. Her career high was 15 points versus New Mexico. She hit 35 three pointers in her last two seasons at a 36-percent. Kepenc prepped at Bostanci Doga Koeji High School. Kepenc played for the U16 European Championships, was a member of the National Team in turkey, and was a member of the Fenerbahce Club team for 10 years. Her team earned seven championships. She earned three MVP honors and was named Best Forward in the league four times. She was also team captain for both the national team and the club team.
