Before Union
Gee transferred to Union from Coahoma Community College where he played two years of baseball. He was named second team All-MACJC. He hit .301 as a freshman with 31 RBI and a .965 fielding percentage. As a sophomore, Gee hit .343 with 22 RBI and a .977 fielding percentage. He was on the honor roll both years and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. Gee prepped at Horn Lake High School where he played four years of baseball, three years of soccer, and two years of football. Gee earned the Eagle Award. Off the field, he was on the honor roll, a member of the National Honors Society, and received the FCA Bob Patterson Scholarship Award.
