Before Union
Templeton prepped at Briarcrest Christian School where he played four years of golf and one season of basketball. He helped lead his golf team to the regional title in 2016. Templeton finished in the Top 10 in the 2015 State Championships. His teams posted a second place state tournament finish in 2016 and a pair of third place finishes in 2014 and 2015. Off the course, Templeton was a member of the National Honors Society, Spanish National Honors Society, honor roll and was named a Wendy's High School Heisman Academic Award winner.Â
