Before Union
Korte prepped at Massac County High School where she played four years of golf, four years of soccer, and four years of basketball. She helped lead her golf team to the Class A Illinois State title in 2017, three region titles, and two sectional titles. In soccer, Korte was named her team's most valuable defender in 2015, earned the 110% Award, and named team MVP in 2017. In golf, she finished fifth in the IHSA region tournament in 2016, fourth in 2017, River-to-River All-Conference in 2016, 2017, Illinois Coaches Association All-South 2016 and 2017. Off the course, Korte was a member of the National Honors Society, honor roll, was an honor student, Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award, and earned the National Honors Society Presidents Volunteer Bronze Award. Her younger sister is a member of the Union women's golf team starting fall 2021.
