Before Union
Shreve transferred to Union from Iowa Western Community College where heh played two years of baseball. He helped lead his team to conference and district titles in 2018, a long with a fifth place finish at the JUCO World Series. Shreve posted a 0.98 ERA in 2018 while helping his team to a 56-7 record and a 38-game winning streak. He was named academic all-conference and Academic All-America. Shreve prepped at Cody High School where he played four years of baseball, four years of basketball, and three years of golf. He also played three years for the Cody Cubs. He helped lead his tem to three state titles, two in baseball and one in basketball. In baseball, he was earned the Most Improved award, was a two time all-conference player, named all-state twice, and was voted team captain. In golf, he was MVP, earned Most Improved award, and team captain. In basketball he was all-conference and team captain. Off the field, Shreve was on the honor roll three years.
