2017-18...GSC Freshman of the Week twice... played in 25 games with 9 starts...averaging 6.3 points per game. 2018-19...played in 26 games...averaging 4.3 points per game...2019-20...junior season. 

Before Union
Florent prepped at Osceola High School where he played four years of basketball. He also played three seasons for the Showtime Ballers and one year for E1T1. Florent helped lead his team to the 2017 Florida State Title. His teams also won the region title in 2015 and 2017 and the district title each year from 2014-17. Florent was named 2017 Osceola News Gazette Player of the Year, Spectrum Sports Player of the Year, all-state tournament team, second team All-Central Florida and MVP of Adidas Holiday Slam. He added third team All-Central Florida and Great Florida Shootout MVP in 2016. He averaged 17 points, two assists, one block and one steal per game.
