Before Union
Sexton transferred to Union from Moorpark College where she played two years of volleyball. She was named first team all-conference and recorded a team high 861 assists, 222 digs and 30 aces as as sophomore. Sexton helped lead her team to the CCCAA SoCal Region Playoffs. In the Western Conference, she ranked second in assists and third in assists per set (9.26). She was co-captain and led her team to the first region win since 2009. Off the court, whe was named to the honor roll, Dean's List and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Sexton prepped at Adolfo Camarillo High School where she played four years of volleyball. She also played four years of club volleyball for California Heat and Ventura County. She was named MVP, Most Important Player and Leader of the Year for her high school team. She was named to the honor roll, Principal Honor Roll and CSF honors.
