Before Union 
Red prepped first at Deane Bozeman School where she played on the varsity team as a 7th grader. She started in every varsity game in 8th through 10th grade, pitching almost every inning. She was named to the All-County team in 10th grade. Her junior year she transferred to Arnold High School in Panama City Beach, FL, where she caught every inning. Red helped lead her team to a County Championship, District Championship, Regional Championship, and Florida Class 6A State Runner-Up Title, with a season batting average of .412, logging the first error-free season ever at Arnold High school, while throwing out 81% of stolen base attempts. She was named to the all-county team 10th-12th grade, Florida All-State 1st team her junior year and Florida State Coaches All-Star team her senior year. She was named defensive player of the year her Freshman and Junior year, and Coaches Choice award and Defensive MVP as a senior. Red helped lead her travel team, Elite Lady Sox 18U, to two Alabama USSSA State Championships and NSA World Series Runner-Up title in 2017. Off the field she maintained a 4.0 GPA with 40 credit hours of dual enrollment classes at Gulf Coast State College. She was also a leader of the BCCYC Choir and Ensemble and a Worship Leader at her home church, Catalyst Church.
