Before Union
Cooper prepped at Hume Fogg Academic Magnet High School where she played four years of varsity golf. She helped lead her team to the Tennessee State Title in 2012. Cooper's team also won four straight district titles and four straight region titles from 2009-2012. Individually, Cooper was a top-5 medalist three times in district tournaments (2009-11), was low district medalist in 2012 and was third in the region in 2012. She placed 25th overall of 65 golfers in the 2012 state tournament. Off the course, Cooper graduated with honors. She is the daughter of Robert and Sheila Cooper of Nashville.
