Before Union
Fickley prepped at Science Hill (Tenn.) HIgh School where she ran cross country and track for four seasons. She was named MVP, Most Improved, Leadership Award, all-state, all-conference, and all-region during her career. Fickley set a school record for the distance medley relay. Off the course, Fickley earned Magna Cum Laude on National Latin Exam, graduated top-10 percent of her class, and was on the honor roll.
