Before Union
Lewis prepped at Silverdle Baptist Academy where she played four years of basketball. She also played five years of AAU basketball for Tennessee Xtreme. She helped lead her team to four regular seaosn titles and one tournament championship. She also won an AAU state title. She was named all-district four times, all-district tournament four times, all-region three times, played in the Tennessee/Georgia All-Star Game and was voted senior seperlative Most Athletic. As a junior, she was named the River City Sports Shooter of the Year. Lewis set a school record for three pointers made in a season each of her four years. She also set a school record for three pointers made in a career with 352 and 3's made in a game with seven. She shot 41 percent from long range for her career and led the team in blocks and steals for three years. She scored her 1,000th career point as a junior and finished with 1,607 points. Off the court, Lewis was a member of the Beta Club, honor roll and Mu Alpha Theta all four years of high school.
