JACKSON, Tenn. - Union University's
Trace Robinson was named to the the 2026 Gulf South Conference Men's Golf All-Conference, second team. This is Robinson's first GSC postseason honor of his career.Â
Robinson, a 6-foot junior from Jackson, helped Union to a 3rd place finish in the GSC Championship last week. It matched the highest finish for the men's team since joining the GSC in 2023. Union has finished third three times (2013, 2024, 2026).Â
As a junior, Robinson was ranked No. 130 nationally in all of Division II, while coming in at #41 in the south region, narrowly missing a spot in the NCAA D2 Nationals. He posted a 72.3 scoring average in 27 rounds. In nine events, he posted three top three finishes, including a medalist win at the Montevallo Full Moon BBQ Invitational. Most recently, Robinson finished 17th at the GSC Championship.Â
For his career thus far, Robinson has two wins, four top-3 finishes in 28 events. This season's region and national rankings mark the highest finish to this point in his career.Â
