LENIOR CITY, Tenn. - The Union University men's golf team posted a ninth place finish at the Tennessee River Rumble. The 3-round event hosted by Lincoln Memorial University was played at the Windriver Golf Club and featured 18 teams with 98 golfers. 

Seven of the 18 team are ranked in the top-49 nationally, including the No. 1 ranked team, Grand Valley State. Union was the second highest finishing non-ranked team in ninth (Erskine 6th). Union was +27 for the event. No. 5 Wingate won the event at -1. Grand Valley State finished fifth at +13. 

Union was led by Trace Robinson with a 19th place finish at +4. Wingate's Lewis Beeden won the event at -11. 

Andrew Westmoreland finished 26th (+6), Matthew Westmoreland 38th (+8), Lane Carr 45th (+10), and Caleb Clifft 81st (+19). 

Up next for Union will be the Music City Invitational March 30-31 at the Hermitage Golf Club in Old Hickory, Tenn.
