JACKSON, Tenn. - The Union University women's cross country team finished sixth at the Rhodes College Invitational Saturday morning. The 5K event took place at Shelby Farms in Memphis, Tennessee and featured 13 teams with 107 runners.Â
Addi Aguayo of Union posted a runner-up finish with a time of 18:22. That time is good for seventh in program history.Â
Union tallied 139 points for the sixth place finish. Arkansas State took first with 40 points. GSC foes Mississippi College (3rd) and Christian Brothers (5th) finished ahead of Union. Union bested Delta State (11th).Â

Up next for Union will be the Chili Festival in Fayetteville, Arkansas (Agri Park) October 4 hosted by the University of Arkansas.Â
