JACKSON, Tenn. - Union University's cross country program placed two runners on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Teams. Addi Aguayo of the women's team and Aaron Fynaardt of the men's team each received the honor. 

The 2025 Academic All-District® Men's Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's track& field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

Aguayo, of Franklin, Tennessee, earned second-team All-GSC honors this season with an 11th-place finish at the conference meet. She was also named GSC All-Academic and to the GSC Honor Roll. She posted two top-10 finishes this season. 

Fynaardt, of West Des Moines, Iowa, was named GSC second team All-Conference with a 20th place finish. He finished top-25 at the NCAA D2 South Region Championship, earning All-South Region honors. He was named to the GSC Honor Roll.
