BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- This morning the GSC dubbed Aaron Fynaardt the GSC Runner of the Week. This award encompasses competition from September 29- October 5. This award follows his performance at the Chile Pepper Festival hosted by the University of Arkansas.

Fynaardt placed 55^th out of 285 in the hardest heat of the competition. He was racing among D1 runners from Arkansas and Texas. His time of 25:07.50 was the 9^th fastest in program history.

He continues to show his consistency on the course, as this is his third weekly award in three races.

The Bulldogs head to Clinton, Mississippi for the Watson Cross Country Classic (10/17), their last regular season meet before the GSC Championship.
