JACKSON, Tenn- The Union Women's Cross Country team had a great showing at the Chile Pepper Classic hosted by the University of Arkansas. The 5k event featured 25 teams and 239 runners.

The Lady Bulldogs finished 1^st as a team with a team time of 1:36.05. Fellow GSC member, West Alabama finished 13^th.

 Addi Aguayo led the blitz with a time of 17:56.60, for a second-best time in program history, only behind Gladys Kipchumba's time of 17:52.

Followed by Aguayo, Victoria Markham finished 4^th, with a time of 18:10.90. Ayla Young Cook 19^th, Clara Zinn 38^th, Sophie Crisler 72^nd, Ryan Harter 88^th, and Heidi Munday 129^th followed behind.

Next, the Lady Bulldogs take on the Watson Cross Country Classic hosted by Mississippi College on October 17^th.
